SOGVL04: VL04 Vulcan Mini Tanto
Since 1959, the General Electric M61A1 Vulcan and its derivatives is a 20mm 6-barrel Gatling-style rotary cannon that has been in service in many United States military aircraft through several wars. It fires standard M50 ammunition at 6,000 rounds per minute and is an integral part of the armament of modern fighters such as the F-15, F-18, and F-16.

Built upon the M61 Vulcan’s reputation of speed, power, and versatility, the SOG Vulcan is also formidable with a powerful strength of construction. There is nothing weak about the Mini Vulcan. For instance, SOG's patented Arc-Lock can hold over 1000 lbs. of force making it an ideal hard use lock type, far surpassing conventional lock strength. With its ambidexterity, ability to self-adjusting over time, and ease to clean, the Arc-Lock might just be the perfect lock. The full steel liners encased in glass reinforced nylon (GRN) handles give the knife rigidity and durability during use without adding unnecessary weight. The Vulcan Mini’s blade is a full 0.125" thick and includes a double thumb stud and flipper tab for quick, ambidextrous deployment and use. Press on the back of the blade and the knife flips out fast and smooth. A reversible clip, the Arc-Lock, and double thumb studs/flipper tab opening make for complete ambidextrous use. Combining the usability and construction of the knife with a durable VG10 stainless steel blade make this folder a great addition to the Vulcan name.

Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Weight, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Handle Material, Handle Feel, Lock Ease of Use, Ease of Opening
Expected more
The Cons: -Flipper action is not smooth, must use a wrist flick in order to deploy. -Handle is thicker than expected so it bulges out of the pocket. -Cost of the knife is rather high if compared to others (mini griptillian, PM3, kizers) The Pros: -San Mai VG-10 blade is done excellent by SOG. Holds edge nicely and feels tough. -Build quality is better than any SOG folder that I have seen. -Light weight, more than capable EDC that is easy to carry in either pocket.

Pros: Pocket Clip, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type
Cons: Blade Material, None
I agree with everything the first reviewer said. It took me a little while to warm up to this knife but now I find its my first pick among a dozen others. I love the action. Its addictive. Once worn in, you can easily open and close by just disengaging the lock. My only complaint is the blade is quick to dull up and slow to sharpen - at least for me.

Great EDC
I love this knife. I carry it everyday. Once in a while I switch to another knife, nothing I own is as good, I always come right back. Its light. keeping it sharp with my Lansky kit is easy and quick. Operation is so smooth and easy, arc lock is solid and easy to use. The only glitch i found is the pivet screw comes loose. Because i enjoy flicking it open and closed so much, it's addictive. Not a big deal to tightin just snug up with wrench. A MUST have, in my modest opinion.
