Description
SP10WDP: C10WDP Endura 4 Pakkawood
Spyderco

This limited edition Exclusive version of the Spyderco Endura 4 was specially manufactured for KnifeCenter and features a laminated HAP40/SUS410 blade and handsome mahogany Pakkawood scales.

Its keen PlainEdge blade features three-layer laminate construction comprised of HAP40 and SUS410 steels. HAP40 is a high-speed tool steel produced by the powder metallurgy process—an advanced manufacturing method that reduces the alloy segregation in the steel and ensures an extremely fine, uniform carbide structure. Containing generous amounts of tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, and cobalt, HAP40 possesses exceptional toughness and high abrasion resistance—key qualities of a superior blade steel. To provide increased strength and corrosion resistance, the high-performance HAP40 core is flanked by layers of SUS410 martensitic stainless steel. This unique three-layer construction is evident when the full-flat-ground blades are examined closely, as the transition between the core and outer layers is visible just above the blade's cutting edge.

Not to be outdone, the handle of this remarkable knife features full skeletonized stainless steel liners, a stainless steel backspacer, and scales machined from mahogany Pakkawood—a unique material that combines the durability and stability of a phenolic laminate with the beauty of natural wood. All other features of the classic Endura 4, including a sturdy lockback mechanism and four-position pocket clip, are faithfully maintained to make this knife both a fully functional tool and a work of art.

A remarkable expression of the Endura 4 design, this KnifeCenter Exclusive is sure to become a highly prized collector's item. Exact color and grain pattern will vary.

Gorgeous
Got the Pakkawood Delica before they sold out and saw the Endura was still in stock, so ordered one. Great fit and finish, its evenly stained, razor sharp and mechanically perfect with a centered blade. I don’t plan on carrying these too often, but they sure are nice to look at.

Great knife!
This knife feels great in my hand. The wood feels and looks great and the knife is extremely sharp out of the box. I wanted a knife with wooden handles like my Grandfather used to have. I have that now and it also has twenty first century steel with an old fashioned back lock. Great combination!
