Description
SP221GPWH: C221GPWH Lil' Nilakka
Spyderco

Designed by award-winning Finnish knifemaker and Puukko authority Pekka Tuominen, the Lil’ Nilakka is essentially a "gentleman's folding Puukko." It translates the timeless form of the traditional Finnish Puukko into a pocket-friendly "dress-up" pocket knife. Its RWL 34 stainless steel blade features a full-flat grind that tapers to a microbevel, making it nearly zero ground for incredible sharpness and edge geometry. Its handle is a combination of full stainless steel liners, a stainless backspacer, and white polished G10 scales and houses a sturdy LinerLock mechanism. The subject of Spyderco's first Flash batch, the Lil' Nilakka is a one-time exclusive production run that will be numbered in its entirety.

Flash Batch

A Flash Batch is similar to a Sprint Run, but features a brand new design that has not been previously produced. Flash Batches are also unique, one-time-only expressions of a particular model, but are likely to be even more rare and collectible than Sprint Runs. Spyderco is proud to offer these exclusive, limited edition production runs to celebrate the diversity of their designs and stimulate even greater collector interest in their knives. Each Flash Batch knife will be individually numbered for the entire run.

A stunning small gentleman's folder.
This little knife pushes a lot of buttons for me by exhibiting, and executing, the concepts of form and function at a very high level.

Pros: Lock Type, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Blade Sharpness, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Cons: None
unique gentleman's knife.
This is a unique and neat little knife, as many knives made in Taichung Taiwan. The opening is fluid, and the liner lock is solid. You can even flick it open with some training.White G10 is splendid and the blade is air whittling out of the box. It is a full flat ground with a micro bevel, very very micro bevel. The blade is very thin, thus this is really a folding scalpel. The steel may be strong but I would advice not to use this knife for carving wood. It is more suitable for very delicate pure cutting task, not on hard material.Very elegant, it is very unique little gentlemen's knife.

Great Quality, Limited Edition
Since it is a limited edition, I won't use it regularly. It will be my collection piece. The quality is very good, very sharp out of the box. There are hot spots on the opening and closing contact.
