Description

SP243PGYW: C243PGYW Endela Emerson Opener

Spyderco

Sized to perfectly split the difference between the iconic Delica 4 and Endura 4 models, the Endela is rapidly earning a reputation as the perfect compromise. To make this full-service folder even more capable, it is now available with an Emerson Opener—an integral hook on the spine of the blade opens it automatically as it's drawn. This high-speed version of the Endela features a saber ground VG10 blade, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a sturdy lockback mechanism, and an injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle in the distinctive blue-gray color of Spyderco's Emerson-Opener equipped knives.

Fell apart!
Blade is razor sharp. knife is pretty nice and I liked it... But on the 3rd day and maybe 20-25 deployments of the blade. The pin/screw that has a tiny star shape in it popped out allowing the blade to fall out! and I have nothing that resembles that bit to tighten it all back up. So it’s sitting in a box for now. And honestly don’t know if I’ll ever rely on this knife even after I fix it. If this didn’t happen with all my lights on and me looking at the knife while opining it I would have lost the pin for sure. Buyer beware.
