STRSMFNYCK15: Strider and Starlingear Collaboration SMF CC, Black G10/Starlingear Artwork
The Strider/Starlingear Boogeyman SMF collaboration from NYCK Show 2015. With only 20 pieces made, it a collector's piece from the start. The amazing artwork comes from Ryk Maverick of Starlingear and the Boogeyman bronze bead is full of creativity. The leather slip sheath is handcrafted by Greg Everett. The SMF is one of the most heavy duty folders out there. The flat ground CPM-S30V 4.0" drop point blade is covered with Starlingear artwork on both sides. The concealed carry handle is a solid piece of black G10 with a titanium frame lock that is also sporting the laser engraved artwork from Starlingear. You should look forward to seeing new collaborations two to three times a year after the big shows here at the KnifeCenter.

Semi-Custom or Mid-Tech knives are knives produced by a process in which the designer has more direct--but not complete--involvement; parts of these knives may still have been made by others.
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
A hardened wear and corrosion resistant stainless steel developed in collaboration with Chris Reeve. It is known for its improved sharpness and toughness. This is a premium grade steel only used in high end knives. Composition: Carbon 1.45%, Chromium 14.00%, Vanadium 4.00%, Molybdenum 2.00%
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.
