Wonderful true Damascus, but cuts poorly
I was excited to buy a true Damascus (not sandwich) at a reasonable price. I got a beautiful raindrop Damascus knife, not full tang construction, but extremely well done. The sad part came when I used to knife to thin slice an has terrible drag, and cuts very poorly. Too thick a blade profile!I think if the knife is reground, it will perform as I expect......but the fine feel of my Bob Kramer Damascus (custom, from his shop) is totally lacking.I gave a one star rating because the knife is virtually useless as may turn into a wonder when reground.
