USGladius Knives
USGladius Knives are based on the design of the Roman Gladius (short sword), the standard arm of the Roman Legions, proven on ancient battlefields and the gladiatorial spectacles of the arena for over 400 years. The unique design not only provides excellent balance, from a functional standpoint, but an aesthetic beauty as well, uncommon in a standard tactical knife. Built for rugged use and abuse, it uses a full tang stainless steel construction. USGladius is destined to become a classic.

Micarta Handles
Micarta Handles Micarta is a compressed layered composite sealed within a thermosetting plastic which creates a strong, attractive material that is impervious to water.

8CR13 Stainless Steel Considered a value steel, 8Cr13 steel provides adequate corrosion resistance but with slightly more carbon than AUS-8, it will sharpen up and hold an edge better.

Cons: Handle Material, None
ok, but has design flaw
No quarrel with the blade. It's great. The handle is not so good. If you were to use this knife in an actual fight with a saber grip you would gouge the palm of your hand with the disk-like pommel. The pommel should be changed to be a sphere. or the handle needs to be an inch longer; the disk sucks. Basically you could not effectively fight with this knife unless you used an icepick grip or were wearing thick gloves. PS--a previous review said that open carry of a knife like this is legal in florida without a permit. Not so, unless you are hunting, fishing, or camping, or going to and from one of those. You can, however, carry a common pocketknife without a permit. By case law, that means a blade of less than 4 inches. (Of course not all the cops may know this so you are taking a chance carrying any kind of knife without a permit other than a penknife). My advice is to get the permit; then you can carry nearly anything concealed legally.

. Su tamaño contenido favorece su portabilidad y ocultación. Es en definitiva un cuchillo excelente. It is a piece of extraordinary quality and has passed tests successfully hardness and edge quality that has been made. His good balance allows it to be used as a throwing knife with excellent results and without risk of damaging the hilt. The disc that finishes off the knob is an element that allows Multifunction lever, hit, flatten etc .... Its size improves portability and content ocultacin. It is definitely an excellent knife.

Everything I wanted it to be.
I recently bought a fixed blade kukri with a leather sheath (by down under knives, its awesome as well but beside the point) for my edc (open carry is more legal than concealed carry for knives in Florida and I don't have a permit so...) And the sheath made it hard to draw the knife quickly enough for a real world encounter. I also wanted something a little less bulky. This is perfect. Out of the box razor sharp +1 then I tested the draw, its as if the knife just appears in your hand +1 The safety snaps come a little tough to pop off -1 but they hold it in place like gorilla glue so I know itll never fall out unless I undo them so another +1 then I tried throwing it a little, I found that the point of balance is precisely in the center of the cross guard (or what would be the cross guard on a full sized gladius) which also happens to be dead center of the knife. I've thrown it about 30 times, haven't missed once (and I'm no expert knife thrower) so +1 for that. The belth sheath is very functional and sturdy but also offers some room for custimaztion because of the Velcro system. My only complaint is its slightly, very slightly, smaller than the pictures lead you to believe, but since I was looking for something smaller it kind of made me love it even more. All in all, great product. Worth every penny (especially cuz its about $30-40 cheaper on knifecenter than anywhere else on the internet) and I am VERY excited to see more products from USgladius.
