WEK708B: 708B Folding Knife, Blue
We Knife Company

We Knife Company has been around the game for a long time but has only recently begun manufacturing their own designs. They started by manufacturing OEM designs for other companies and have gained a reputation in the industry as a name you can rely on. Their products are innovative, beautiful, and extremely well-built so you can rest assured you're getting a supreme quality product at a great price.

The 708 model from We Knives is their first combat karambit folder and it's a design that truly gets everything right. From the spot-on ergonomics to the amazingly fast flipping action and its exemplary looks, this might be the next go-to folding karambit. The devastating hawkbill blade measures in at 2.75", made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with a stonewashed finish and flipper or thumb hole opening methods. The excellent handle with a one-inch pinky ring is made from milled 6Al4V titanium with a blue anodized then stonewashed finish and bronze custom hardware. The pocket clip, full-length backspacer, screws, pivot cap, and washers are all 6Al4V titanium for maximum quality assurance and you have a replaceable lockbar insert for longevity. This is an excellent compact tactical design that we think you're absolutely going to love; it brings new looks and opening speed to the combat karambit market.

Expectations Exceeded…even crushed.
Like many of you taking the time to read this, I've dropped thousands of dollars on Knives. I’ve bought knives made in China, but only for a few dollars…a Cold Steel folder here, or a Boker Kalashnikov there. Never anything at this price point. I’ve been watching WE Knife Co. new releases for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. I did my best to keep my expectations low, but I worried for nothing! I can’t find a flaw in the 708b. Blade centering is perfect. Lockup is solid, not a bit of play in the blade. The anodizing is clean and crisp blue. It’s decently sharp out of the box but could be better. Not the same as a Halo out of the box but few are. It’s very light for its size. VERY LIGHT. All the internal skeletonizing really knocked down the weight. Not a bad thing at all, but for the size of it, I wouldn’t mind another 15 grams. Even without the extra weight, it feels very solid in hand. It came with a nice softshell case, a WE logoed polishing cloth and the tool to adjust the 5-point star screws used for assembly. Overall, I’m extremely impressed and very happy with the purchase. If this were made in America it would be at least $100 more expensive and the quality would be just the same. I would not hesitate to buy another WE Knife.
