WEK714A: 714A Simon Crafts Slipstream Folding Knife
We Knife Company
We Knife Company has been around the game for a long time but has only recently begun manufacturing their own designs. They started by manufacturing OEM designs for other companies and have gained a reputation in the industry as a name you can rely on. Their products are innovative, beautiful, and extremely well-built so you can rest assured you're getting a supreme quality product at a great price.
The 714 Slipstream was designed by Simon Crafts, also known as ns_edgeworks on Instagram. Simon is not a knifemaker by trade or by any other form of the word. He's just an engineer extremely familiar with AutoCAD but that doesn't mean Simon doesn't know what he's doing. The Slipstream is one of many collaborations with We Knives and each is a unique expression of his design style. Simon's knives are simple, straightforward, and designed for work. They feature little to no unnecessary embellishments — just a cutting edge and a comfortable handle made to get the job done.
The compound ground, razor-sharp blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with a slight clip point shape, thumb slot, and perfectly jimped thumb ramp. The svelte handle slides into the pocket with ease and disappears until its number is called. The ergonomic shape, chamfered edges, and ample jimping make for a supremely solid, comfortable grip. The pocket clip, backspacer, screws, pivot cap, and washers are all 6Al4V titanium for maximum quality assurance and you have a finger choil for fine detail work. The flipper tab is what makes this knife interesting and different than the norm. Its location makes it a light-switch only opener and the tab disappears into the frame in the open position — a superb design feature. Everything about this knife is well thought out and we are proud to present it to you as your next large everyday carry or tactical blade.

A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
A tougher steel than S30V, it retains the excellent corrosive properties and ability to take an edge, but improves on the ability to hold that edge.
Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
