WEK718G: 718G Simon Crafts Array Folding Knife
We Knife Company

We Knife Company has been around the game for a long time but has only recently begun manufacturing their own designs. They started by manufacturing OEM designs for other companies and have gained a reputation in the industry as a name you can rely on. Their products are innovative, beautiful, and extremely well-built so you can rest assured you're getting a supreme quality product at a great price.

The 718 Array was designed by Simon Crafts, also known as ns_edgeworks on Instagram. Simon is not a knifemaker by trade or by any other form of the word, he's just an engineer extremely familiar with AutoCAD. But that doesn't mean Simon doesn't know what he's doing, the Array is his fourth collaboration with We Knives and we only expect that number to keep growing. His knives are simple, straightforward, and designed for work. They feature little to no unnecessary embellishments, just a cutting edge and a comfortable handle. I mean, what more do you need?

The slender, razor-sharp blade is made from CPM-S35VN stainless steel with a slight clip point shape, partial fuller, and perfectly jimped thumb ramp. The svelte handle slides into the pocket with ease and disappears until its number is called. The contoured shape, chamfered edges, and ample jimping make for a supremely solid, comfortable grip. The pocket clip, backspacer, screws, pivot cap, and washers are all 6Al4V titanium for maximum quality assurance and you have a finger choil for fine detail work. Everything about this knife is well thought out and superbly executed and we are proud to present it to you as your next everyday carry or last ditch tactical blade.

Pros: Overall Quality, Handle Feel, Weight, Handle Material
Cons: Ease of Opening, None
Blade should be thinner
Certainly a looker, I just love slim designs like this. Fit and finish is excellent, nothing to complain here. But the blade is quite thick and heavy, so it doesn't slice too well, is a bit unbalanced, and - with the weak detent - only a so-so flipper.Pointless pouch feels cheap and is a disposable.
