We Knife Company
We Knife Company has been around the game for a long time but has only recently begun manufacturing their own designs. They started by manufacturing OEM designs for other companies and have gained a reputation in the industry as a name you can rely on. Their products are innovative, beautiful, and extremely well-built so you can rest assured you're getting a supreme quality product at a great price.

The 819 Drakon takes the wildly popular dragon scale milling of the 604 model and puts it onto another versatile design that is well-suited for everyday carry. This one happens to be of the integral variety, manufactured from a single piece of milled titanium. The straightforward handle shape transitions smoothly into the blade with a perfectly executed thumb ramp and finger choil for fine detail work. You have your choice between the flipper tab or thumb slot opening methods; both work equally well as this Bohler M390 stainless steel blade rides on ceramic bearings. The pocket clip, backspacer, screws, pivot cap, and washers are all 6Al4V titanium for maximum quality assurance and you have a replaceable lockbar insert for longevity. The Drakon is a reimagination of our favorite We Knife to date and we highly recommend it to you as your next do-anything folding knife.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
This knife is fantastic. The feel in your hand is wonderful; the rounded back and single spacer on the front just makes it fit my hand extremely well (medium hand size). The handle is a single piece of titanium. It has a little heft to it, but that just improves the overall feel of the knife to me. It may be heavier than you expect for a blade of this size. The blade is perfectly centered (as you would expect from We) and came very sharp right out of the box. I love the design, and it looks better in person than in pictures. The bearing does need to be broken in. Weaker pushes on the flipper may not have the blade fully deploy and lock when it is fresh out of the box. This goes away after a couple days of carrying and use. While the blade is advertised as 3.4", the cutting edge is only 3 1/16". While not a deal breaker, I was expecting a cutting edge of 3.4". While this is obviously on me for not researching properly before buying, it is something to be aware of if you're a fan of a larger blade. That said, the cutting edge is still large enough for my needs.Let's talk about the clip. The aesthetics are great. It is deep carry and very discrete. It looks more like a pen in my pocket than a knife. It is a bit hard to get into your pocket though. I believe it has to do with the scale design on the handle more than an issue with the clip itself. Taking it out of the pocket encounters no resistance; it is just clipping the knife into/onto your pocket that is a little more difficult than other knives I've carried.I am extremely happy with this knife. In addition to my appreciation of the obvious aesthetics of the knife, the integral handle and high quality of materials used in production might make this my favorite knife, supplanting my ZT 0462.
