ZBAMS3DAM3: Damasteel MS3 Manhattan Special Folding Knife, Odin Heim
Michael Zieba Custom Knives

The MS3 Manhattan Special is the perfect refined everyday carry knife. It has even won the heart of our company owner, beating out all the other knives in our building to be his personal carry. This slim folder is super easy to carry with an eminently useful blade shape that is ready to slice like an X-acto knife, snap-quick action and one of the hottest new steels on the market.

The slim, contoured titanium frame is now extra light due to some hollowing inside. It slips into the pocket with ease and is extremely comfortable to use. The thin scalpel-like blade can perform every task you need of it and won't draw any looks when you flip it out, though, in this limited edition Damasteel configuration, it just might!

This EDC masterpiece is outfitted with a carbon fiber backspacer and sculpted titanium pocket clip in addition to a replaceable lockbar insert/overtravel arrestor. The flipper tap and thumb ramp are jimped for more purchase and the blue titanium hardware sets the aesthetics off nicely. It features improved lockbar access, edge profile, and includes internal lightening pocket to save weight over previous MS3 iterations. We can't recommend this lightweight, fast, ergonomic, easy to carry, and enjoyable to use knife enough. Get one while you can!

A real step (including price, too)
This is a real improvement over the prior versions of the Zieba Manhattan Special, including the Shinola version. Fit and finish are great as always, and the blade is incredible (Hakkapella, which is different here in a good way compared the example on the Zieba site). The handle is hallowed-out to make it lighter (might have been true of the prior versions), and there are subtle cut-outs/relief at the end of the lock-bar and opposing scale to make closing the knife easier (that wasn't on the Shinola version). Just really well made. This is a tiny knife, however, with an even smaller blade (but still a usable length), so it's a gentleman's knife at best. Not for someone with large hands. Dollars-per-inch, it's a horrible deal. But for fans of small knives, it's a unique knife from a small US maker, and that means something to me.
