ZT0022: Model 0022 Folding Knife
Zero Tolerance Knives
Designed by Tim Galyean and precision built by Zero Tolerance, the 0022 practically disappears in your pocket—until it's needed. Of course, the 0022 is adept at a full range of cutting tasks around home and office. Yet we're sure that some of you will also find it a useful accompaniment to deep thought, flipping it open and closed, again and again. This is the smallest ZT they’ve ever made yet it's still an impressive piece of engineering.

The 0022’s under-two-inch blade is made of CPM-20CV stainless steel for superior hardness and corrosion resistance, as well as toughness, wear resistance, and excellent edge retention. The handle features a carbon fiber front scale with stonewashed titanium back. And even though it's small, the 0022 is designed for hand comfort with deep finger contours to ensure a good grip.

For eye-catching looks, ZT added a decorative pivot with a blue-anodized pivot ring and matching tube spacers, which make an attractive contrast with the dark carbon fiber. ZT's smooth KVT ball-bearing opening makes it quick, easy—and somewhat addictive—to open and close the 0022. Whether as an office-appropriate EDC or even as a backup knife, the compact 0022 packs an outsized punch of performance and quality.

outstanding knife
This ZT 0022 is amazing, I received it today and am very happy with this little knife. The Carbon fiber design is fantastic, The blue pivot disc is great in color and appearance. The CPM-20CV blade steel is phenomenal. The flipper action is outstanding as well, took a couple times to master it but it is great as well. Super sharp out of the box. Very pleased overall, and shipping was quick.

Perfect in Every Way
The ZT0022 has now become my favorite EDC knife. The quality, the materials used, and the superior engineering of construction in such a small package is amazing. Though the blade is small, it is incredibly sharp and all belly. This knife’s small size is no indication of its capabilities. Its small size allows it to be worn at all times, in any piece of clothing, so it is always on hand for use. Fits perfectly in the small watch pocket in a pair of Levi’s. Well worth the price. Some of my larger EDC knives are going to start collecting dust. As mentioned in the review, a deep pocket clip might have been better, but I have no complaints with the one it has.

Awesome knife for areas with restrictions!
I work in the Pentagon, and they have a 2.5" blade length limit. This has obviously knocked most of my favorite knives off the list of things I can bring with me. I decided to pick this up to have a knife from my favorite brand that I could bring with me. This 0022 has all of the things I love from ZT. Great materials, good tolerances, a rugged, but lightweight design, and great ergonomics. With the two finger grooves, it locks into the hand very well, despite only fitting three fingers on it. Some other small knives seem like miniaturized large knives, but this knife was obviously designed from the ground up to be comfortable and usable even at its reduced size. The blade is very pointy, and has a good belly too, so it is very useful despite being so small. It instantly became a hit with the Marines I work with, and there might be some more of these selling soon. The only weak point, and still a bit of a stretch, is that the lock is harder to disengage than my other ZTs. Of course, part of this is that my other ZT Framelocks disengage very smoothly, and this one is so short that it takes a little more force.Overall, this is instantly my favorite small knife that can be taken anywhere without an outright blade ban.
