Description
ZT0562: Hinderer 0562
Zero Tolerance Knives

Zero Tolerance and Rick Hinderer teamed up to build the 0562 with its exclusive Hinderer "slicer" grind.

The S35VN powdered steel blade with flat-ground "slicer" grind provides both slicing efficiency and a tough point. S35VN offers toughness and resistance to edge chipping with no loss of wear resistance. The formula also enables the 0562's blade to be sharpened to hair-popping levels.

The knife opens with a flipper and moves out of the handle on our smooth KVT ball-bearing opening system. A washer with caged ball bearings surrounds the pivot and makes opening the knife nearly frictionless; just pull back on the flipper and add a roll of the wrist and the 0562 is ready for action.

The handle has a G10 textured scale in front and a stonewashed titanium back. For secure lock up during use, ZT uses a frame lock with hardened steel lockbar inserts and lockbar stabilization so the lock won't overextend.

The unique pocket clip is reversible (left/right) and enables extra-deep carry in the pocket.

Please note: this model was first made with ELMAX blade steel; you may still find some of these blades in the marketplace. All current production is shipping with S35VN.

great edc
I have been edc'n this blade for 2-3 months and absolutely love it. I have always carried a spydi because I never notice them in my pocket. These zt blades look so big and bulky in the pictures that I was reluctant to give them a try, but this 562 carries just as well as my spydercos. It is definitely heavier but it has a huge slab of titanium on it. The only time I really notice the extra weight is in my hand though. Also I am very impressed with this elmax steel. I beat the hell out of my edc and normally carry a full flat ground blade that I keep hair popping sharp. The beefy blade on this 562 says sharp longer than my S30V and s35 blades and is easier to put a hair popping edge on it as well. By the way I love the deep carry pocket clip that is mounted the way brous does it. Not sure who's idea it was, but I like it.
