American Tomahawk Company
Ernest Emerson needs no introduction. Suffice it to say, the CQC-T is the culmination of Mr. Emerson's tactical genius brought to bear on American Tomahawk's experience in producing extreme-use axes.

The CQC-T's lines represent speed, efficiency, and simplicity... in other words, "what works". Designed primarily as a personal combat tool, the CQC-T is grace in motion. It’s light, fast, and accurate. The retention rings in its textured nylon handle provide a sure, positive grip.

There is nothing else like it, period.
  • The CQC-T is a personal combat tool, first and foremost. We do not recommend you purchase it as a throwing Tomahawk. It's handle design and blade geometry is meant for retention and aggressive cutting, respectively. O-Rings in the handle will likely require replacement over time and can be replaced for a nominal fee by calling customer service.

Pros: Weight, Head Material, None
Cons: Handle Material
Plastic handle? Sheath is terrible...
Seems like it may be durable but will want to keep an eye on the plastic handle. Sheath is as everyone says; ripped up the first time out and ridiculously impractical.

Pros: Weight, Construction, Balance
Cons: None
This is a magnificent combat tool. Frightening, even. I will echo the other reports that complain of the quality of the sheath. It is clearly a sheath designed for some other tool that just happens to almost fit this tomahawk. But it sucks. After mine was sliced to ribbons just by carrying this tomahawk for a couple of days... I've thrown the sheath away. I've been in touch with a custom leather outfit to make a sheath for this wicked monster that actually works.

Tested on some small trees and brush work great. Went through a old door testing the back side. Fits nice on the belt hangs free sort of easy access. F
