Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
Tough attractive blade
I've wanted one of these knives for quite some time. It is a very well made blade; but, the blade is almost 1/4" thick but tapers to a very narrow blade tip (.013). This is supposed to be a fighter rather than a survival blade but I think the point could be broken under severe use. Also the sheath is of inferior material and will not stand up to hard use. This is why I didn't give the knife a 5 rating. I bought a Spec Ops sheath to replace it. I still think this is a lot of knife for $250. If you had this blade made by a custom maker, out of A2 tool steel, I think it would cost more than $250. I also like the micarta handle. The Chief firearms instructor where I work is a former Seal. He carried a Randall on Ops. He said this blade is comparable.
