Pros: Lock Type, Handle Material, Blade Sharpness, Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Cons: Pocket Clip, None
A serious slasher, and a trouble solver.
This is a weapon, it is meant to be used as one. The knife is big even when closed. If you are in law enforcement or armed forces the size is no big deal, if you are a civilian, that's another story. Most knife combat systems enfatize on slashes, exactly what this beast does. The texture couldn't be better and it's comfortable in any stance. Personally I only carry it when I need to cross non illuminated street or similar circumstances. The knife itself is perfect, apart from the pocket clip. It cannot sustain that weight. This is a knife for people who know how to use a knife, and if you take it out, then get down to serious business.

1st Benchmade
I've always carried pocket knives but never a Benchmade. This is a fine piece of cutlery. I use as a EDC and have used at least once a day in the field. The rear strike plate would be a valuable less lethal alternative in a defense situation. The feel and weight in hand is unequaled. Very well balanced.

Perfect knife
One of the better made Benchmades I have ever had the pleasure of owning! Lock up: solid Blade play: none! Sharpness: I tested it out of the box without sharpening it further, on some arm hair, and a simple press against my skin without even moving caused me to bleed. It was THAT sharp out of box! Probably the best sharpness out of the box of any benchmade I have bought and I have many. Heavy, but I like that. I didn't buy this for EDC tasks, I bought this strictly for self defense. Very easy to handle with the weight mainly in the back of the blade, so it is quick to slash with. Overall, if you are looking for a self defense blade, this is it.
