Boker Plus
This knife is revolutionary... think of it as a lockback that you don’t have to unlock to close. Grant and Gavin Hawk’s lock system is the evolution of their E.T. model that was made by Kershaw several years ago. The Griploc employs a multi-part frame design that will not allow the blade to shut when gripping the handle, but once you release your grip it closes easily. Watch the video and you will understand!
The Boker Plus Griploc is one more stroke of genius from Grant & Gavin Hawk, father and son custom knifemakers. This elegant pocket knife offers an intelligent handle design, consisting of several parts, which holds the blade open as long as you hold the knife in your hand. Just release the pressure on the handle, and you can easily close the blade. Additionally, the open blade can be permanently secured by a safety slider located at the end of the handle. The elaborate layout and design of the lever arm mechanism allows the unique handling and is the masterpiece of this construction. The 440C stainless steel blade is opened with the flipper. Includes pocket clip. With black handle scales.

Pros: Handle Material, Blade Material, Lock Ease of Use, Handle Feel, Overall Quality, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
A new EDC for me. At this price point a very good buy. Decent AUS8 edc steel for the blade. Good edge from Biker as usual. A bit of polishing and she's a cutter. Oh my. Lock up is solid. Engineering is above average. Nice lightweight feel without feeling flimsy. Takes a bit to become accustomed to the very unique locking system. Very happy. Jeff

Confused at first, but Great Piece
I have a few Boker knives and they are all high quality, well made pieces. My first impression of this one was confusion. The release mechanism is, at first, hard to understand. Once you get it, it becomes so simple I wonder why has nobody done this already. No hand pressure on the underside of the hand grip and the knife folds in easy. There is a lock to hold it in position if the form of a wheel at the upper back end of the handles. This knife is typical Boker. Well made, clean, crisp, sharp and ready to go. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is to leave room for really stupendous knives. This Boker is as close as you're going to get to a custom folder without the price. A great value!
