BO01BO183: Boker Plus Titan Drop 2
Boker Plus
The Titanium Drop has secured its permanent place in Boker's product range as a premium utility knife with a good price-performance ratio. It was therefore high time for a smaller version compatible with formal attire. The Titanium Drop 2 is now stepping into the footsteps of its big brother, transferring its virtues such as premium materials, low-profile design and high utility to a smaller scale. 440C steel is used for the blade, which in this case is opened with the nail groove. A lockback mechanism and adjustable clip (l/r carry) add to the overall elegance of this knife.

Modernized Basic Lockback Folder
This knife is basically a classic lockback folder with modern materials. That being said, if you're the kind of person that EDCs a small folder, like myself, then it'll fit your needs perfectly. As a simple gentleman's folder, pull off the pocket clip and you're good to go.It is VERY slim and small, but the pocket clip covers more than half its handles length and easily doubles its width. That combined with the fact that it's a thick brushed stainless, makes the pocket clip kind of a joke. The materials are nice (Titanium Handle and 440C blade) but the edge isn't quite as sharp as I'd like out of the box and the lockup could definitely be smoother. There is no side to side play in the blade, but the back and forth has a little movement when locked. Additionally, there's no provision for one handed opening of this knife, but the spring tension on the lock is minimal enough that you can use the nail nick without any risk of snapping off a nail.Overall, for a $50 titanium folder, this knife is amazingly well made.
