BO01BO600: Nano Black
Boker Plus
Based on the immense success of the original Nano, Boker decided to offer additional versions. The Boker Plus Nano broke new ground with its remarkable concept and design by David Curtiss. The Nano clearly shows that size and utility value are not always correlated. Due to its ingenious ergonomics, the Nano sits perfectly in the hand despite its compact size of just 4 3/4", and can handle any cutting task with ease, while providing a superior grip. The structure of the Zytel scale enhances the slip resistance, and the plain edge blade of 440C stainless steel ensures comfortable handling with its large opening. An added bonus is the pocket clip - David Curtiss, who runs a company for water jet cutting systems, also supplies the same pocket clip for custom pieces. The sturdy steel handle features a frame lock mechanism and removable pocket clip (tip-up/tip-down carry). Blade length: 1 7/8". Overall length: 4 3/4". Weight: 2.9 oz. Made in Taiwan.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
surprisingly BIG small knife
This knife is small, but feels BIG. The clever design of the blade gives it real heft and solidity, so that you don't worry about its suffering under real use., while still folding down very compactly. You can see in the picture that the blade is almost as wide as it is long, but the photo doesn't do it justice. This is a very satisfying knife to hold. It's sturdy and fits my hand well. It opens pretty easily, although I'd prefer a crisper edge on the hole for thumb opening. The frame lock is efficient and effective. 440c steel is a plus in my book: It's easy to sharpen, but is also stout. Not so long ago it was one of the top choices out there--my (earlier iteration) Benchmade Griptilian is 440c, e.g. The 5 rating is for what it is, rather than to suggest it's the best knife I've ever had. For a knife with a blade under 2", I am completely satisfied.
