BO02BO156: Boker Plus Mark 1 Navy Knife
A warrior's workhorse.
The Boker Plus line of historical knives from the U.S. Armed Forces is now followed by this impressive piece. Boker Plus The Mark 1 Navy knife was used by the U.S. Navy, and the main difference between this model and other knives from that era is the large synthetic pommel at the end of the classic leather handle. During WWII, this knife was manufactured by H. Boker & Co. in the USA (one of several manufacturers) for the U.S. Navy. This model features an SK-5 high carbon steel blade, and includes an authentic leather sheath. A unique piece with a special history, which is not only ideal for the collector, but also makes an excellent outdoor knife. Serialized. Blade length: 5-1/2". Overall length: 10-1/4". Weight: 6 oz. Made in China.
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
