Combat Boker Magnum Bowie
This 440A SS knife is patterned after a similar design that was actually used by US Army Special Forces in Vietnam-IndoChina. Ironically-The original was made in Taiwan-while this Boker was probably made in mainland China. The reviewer is a combat Special Forces veteran. It is fairly priced if you can locate one at the lower priced spectrum. One detailed review shows that it may not be full tang from the blade-but uses possible screw stock.Mine was not at all loose-so did not disassemble the handle. It would not hurt to fully bed the extended metal from the blade through handle in quality epoxy. That being said, if you could arrange it-a solder line at the joining of the blade and pommel guard would be good. I have had 3 of these knives-none are loose in the handle-guard area. Randall knives feature this solder line and it stabilizes the guard to blade. Its extra work but it might be worth it. All noted, this is an average knife for the price-not bad.
