BO110171: Titan Hunter Stag
The difficulty in hunting big game will always be there, and a successful hunt brings about a feeling of "mission accomplished!" But anyone who has been there realizes that this is when the real work begins. So why use a knife that is awkward, dull and dangerous? Not only is this design a classic hunter that feels good in your hand, the blade steel, Cronidur 30, will perform like no other. Cronidur 30, coming out of the space shuttle program, is one of the latest premium steels, and Boker is the only company to have it available to the sporting knives industry. It was developed for use in the aircraft and aerospace applications, where component durability, reliability and long life are a must. It is also superior in corrosion resistance to 440C stainless steel. Large carbides evident in other high grade steels do not exist in Cronidur 30. Instead, there is a homogeneous structure of finely dispersed carbon nitrides. With a Rockwell hardness of 58 and the blade composition needed, these blades will sharpen and hold an edge unlike any other steel currently available. Also features a titanium liner lock and bolsters for weight reduction and durability, and a rugged stag handle. Includes leather sheath.

Stunning folding Hunter
I have #50 and it is perfect in all aspects of fit and finish. The skillful hand built folder is extremely pleasing to hold and use. The edge is amazingly easy to resharpen and holds it for a good time of use. One of my favorite production brand knifes I own. A true keeper to use and pass down when the time comes.

Not exactly like the picture.
Well built ! I thought it would have a better blade locking system. Horn material is excellent on my knife # 47. It is a "handfull" the horn material is wider than expected.

Great Looking Knife
Haven't used the knife yet, but it sure looks good. However, that wasn't true for the first version of the knife that was sent me. It had a small blemish on the blade, and the stag wasn't configured evenly on both grips (one side was significantly thicker than the other). KnifeCenter went out of its way to make it right with me, immediately exchanging the knife and replacing it with a winner. Very impressed with their service. This is a heavy use hunting knife that feels very solid in the hand, but don't expect it to be light or thin- it isn't. It looks and feels like a typical fixed blade stag handle hunting knife that happens to fold in half. I like the look and I am very pleased with the knife.
