Buck Knives
The 302 Solitaire pocket knife features a traditional handle with Buck's logo medallion. This knife offers a choice to those looking for a larger pocket knife, yet also a simple, more slimline one. Many find they only need and use one blade, so why carry the extra weight? Designed with Buck's signature ComfortCraft contouring for comfortable use and carry, there is a choice for everyone.

As a testament as to why Buck knives has been the number one knife makers for over 110 years, these knives are as American as Buck. For years parents have been passing knives down to their children. These ComfortCraft knives were designed with extra attention to detail and hand finished so they fit comfortably in your pocket and in use. Crafted in the USA and modeled after the high standards and hand craftsmanship set forth by founder Hoyt Buck, the knives in the Chairman Series are the epitome of Buck.

Nice knife, good value for money
Well built, no blade play, comfortable to handle. Could have had a stronger back spring, but then some people would probably complain it was too stiff. I think the spring is strong enough to not cause any problems in use. The blade is sharp enough out of the box. Seems to be some residue from the production in the mechanism, or it simply it needs a little oil. (It comes in a cardboard box, so too much oil would cause problems in shipping.) All in all, good value for money.

Pros: Overall Quality
Cons: None
Wood to metal fit is perfect. US made, and it shows. 420 steel may not be top end but I have read that the quality of Buck heat treating compensates for this. I have no complaints over edge retention and sharp out of the box. This knife is legal carry in the UK (sub 3 inch blade and no lock). Very easy to open - nail nick not needed. Good walk and talk. Very pleased
