BU870: 870 Bones
Buck Knives

This is a frame-lock knife with smooth and reliable deployment, innovative tactical coatings, and the quality of a Buck knife for an affordable price. The Bones is a modern and high-tech design, with special attention to ergonomics, including a curved handle with grip points. These grip points are built-in at three critical pressure points to ensure a secure grasp. To keep this knife at its lightest, the skeletal framework minimizes material weight, while maintaining strength. The blade is partially serrated for added performance. The knife features a one-hand ambidextrous open blade deployment with a thumb stud.

Solid Buy
Every knife rating should consider the context, in this case, i am rating a knife i once bought at Wal-Mart for around $25.00, but have now repurchased for $10.00. Either way, I am pleased with my purchase. The knife, contrary to one negative reviewer, was shaving sharp and the blade was perfectly centered. It is solidly built with a stout and secure lock up, that only a girly man would have trouble unlocking. I don't understand this too heavy nonsense that many people seem too have with their knives. I mean, come on, we aren't talking about a few ounces. If that is too heavy then maybe you are just too weak. Bottom line. A Buck quality knife. A forever warranty. Sharp blade. A great value to cost ratio. Quit being a knife snob and realize a solid buy when you see one.

Junk!
Way too heavy. Incredibly hard to one-hand open. To close it, the lock mechanism requires two hands and is stiff and difficult. It's not even that sharp. A true piece of crap. Save your money.
