Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel
Utilizes a wide variety of alloys but all contain a minimum of 10.5% Chromium content. Stainless steels will not corrode, rust, or oxidize but are not completely stain-proof so the title is somewhat of a misnomer.

excellent
Excellent for dressing whitetail. A few strokes on a stone to finish the blade edge and it was perfect.

I think the leather handled droppoint hunter is avery fine piece of craftmanship, I like the easy to grip handle. I wish the blade might be a little longer, but is still a very fine knife.
