Pros: None
Cons: Overall Quality, Blade Material, Materials
Poor quality
Had this about 3 months. Cutting some small (1 1/2 inch) pine tree branches it broke in half. The broken piece had no dents, chips, nothing. The steel simply failed. Contacted the manufacturer and was told without the oroginal packaging and reciept they would not honor warranty. In addition they would consider this normal wear and tear also not covered. Avoid these machetes. Complete waste of money.

Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Weight, Blade Sharpness, None
Cons: Handle Material, Overall Quality, Blade Material, Materials
Love the usefulness of the knife, it's my second one purchased. I used the original to chop down freakin' trees, it's awesome, blows away others I've had. But I lost my first one in the deer woods, and as soon as I purchased the new one of course I found my original. When the new one came I was using it to clear shooting lanes in the high grass. I was chopping up grass and roots to clear for a deep woods plot, and the new knife hit a root and broke right in half. The other one had chipped a few places because of the hard use, I didn't have a problem with that. I do have a problem with one breaking right in half on a root. I'll check back in to let you know how the return process goes.
