Nice slicer
This is an odd knife, i thought it would be thicker as it is hardly more than 2mm. Good quality though, quite the sharp convex edge, but i can't for the life of me figure out why they stop sharpening it at around 4cm in front of the guard. Maybe that would be a good idea on a knife with a smaller guard like my Kumunga model, but not on this. The handle is rather swelled to the sides, i'm not sure if i like that, it makes it feel minutely unstable while flailing it around. A cool looking utility hole in the front of the blade is rarely a bad idea on a large knife such as this. Could probably pull out nails. Solid handle, solid looking tube fastener. I'm not sure what else to say, there is a rather large and deep logo stamped into the side of the blade which i would prefer not to have as it could weaken the structure or create cracks in theory. It's practically like a thinner Becker 9 with a longer top edge. Whoever assembles the buttons on the (very nice looking leather sheath) retention strap must have been asleep the day mine was made, the button is off center and too far back to be used when wrapping the strap over the knife guard. I can however fasten it and then push it over the knife guard for some reason. Very light bowie for cutting through heavy grass or such things.
