Pros: Blade Material, Weight, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Material, None
Looks good
First impressions are that this is good blade for the money. Came blazing sharp with a convex edge. I would give this higher marks than my first gen. Swamp Rat, due to price, and a thinner blade making it more useful. If you HAD to baton hardwood, this would be the blade to do it with. Sheath is really nice. A good camping knife, just pair it with something small like a locking SAK ( swiss army knife); or either a heavy machete or axe and you would have all the blade needed for the woods.

Tough tool, good price
I have been using this knife for 4-6 months now. I have primarily used it to clear brush and baton through wood. This last camping trip I batoned through dried maple and at one point the knife twisted in the wood at about a 10 degree angle. Once freed from the wood the knife flexed back straight (good tempered steel). The knife held a good edge, didn't roll or chip out. Bottom line, great tool, good price.

The family is complete
I wanted to get the Kumunga to complete the set of Rhodan and Varon. The knives are sturdy and will do about any task asked of them. I was so impressed with these three that I was able to let go of a bunch of knives because these three fit the bill for almost anything. I will let you know that I like almost everyone else put a sharper edge on the knife. Nothing was wrong with the factory sharp but it was not as good as my personal sharp. This is a big bush blade and can stand up to the chopping of limbs. The only con I might have is the black finish of the blade. I just have not decided if I like this feature or not.
