CR2735: 2735 RMJ Woods Kangee T-Hawk
Build a nice log cabin fire. Heck, build a nice log cabin home.

The Woods Kangee is designed by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical to make your life easy when you're off the grid. The design for this t-hawk evolved from the original Kangee™ Tactical Tomahawk. The Woods Kangee has a solid chunk of 1055 carbon steel that is hot forged into a rock-solid head and features a hammer finish. The t-hawk has primary and secondary edge bevels that are flat ground to cut through timber like an Oregon beaver. A spike on the opposite end splits ultra-tough wood knots like a boss.

The thick wood handle is made in the USA from Tennessee hickory. It's comfortable in hand and sealed with a lacquer coat that adds durability when you're in the backcountry.

The Woods Kangee T-Hawk isn't your friend when you're busting your chops in the forest; it's your sidekick.

You can also get a replacement handle if yours is damaged or you want a spare and an awesome leather sheath to carry this great tool with you in the backcountry.

Amazing tool!
On it's fifth resharpening... Flawless simplicity and razor sharp. Splits, hacks, carves, the spike is great for a variety of unseemly tasks... CRKT needs to improve stitching on the sheath as my hawk when sharp and strapped to a pack sliced through the stitching... Sewed it back up with double strand nylugut and no problems...

Best Tomahawk for the woods
There is much to be said about the flexibility of this spike tomahawk. I got as a long term solution for extended situations in the wilderness from the Absorka mountains of Montana to the Chihuahuan Desert of West Texas. It is a heavy head for a tomahawk which is what I wanted. The blade chops, and splits and carves well. The spike digs and prys outstandingly! From building a dugout, carving footholds in sandstone, digging up worms and fatwood to prying up Soltol and lechuguilla. Stick the spike in a tree and Debark/ make shavings with blade holding your work with both hands. Need more power - just make a temporary longer pole! Nice steel! Great piece of serious gear! Get the spike, you can hammer tent pegs and trap pegs with the side or a baton...
