CR3515: 3515 KHC Karen Hood Chopper
CRKT

Dare pack it into a woodsy snarl, and it'll come out prime to thrash.

The KHC Karen Hood Chopper is a fixed blade survival knife designed to take down trees without adding to the girth of your pack. It rides low profile in its sheath considering its substantial 9.125" blade and punches above its weight. The handles are removable and can be replaced with paracord—becoming a major threat to any job the wilderness serves up.

From her shop in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, wilderness survivalist pioneer Karen Hood designed the Chopper to hack away at brush, small trees, and camp chores with minimal effort. The impressive blade is poised at the perfect 12-degree drop, maximizing chopping power, and its aggressive, corrosion-resistant powder coated finish faces backcountry elements head on. It stores away neatly in a reinforced nylon sheath.

Stand aside, machetes and hatchets, as the Chopper steps in to take on backwoods business.

1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for its extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Great knife
At current price I need to buy another. Is everything I wanted in a large knife. Handle is great and fits the hand like it should. Blade is long and extremely sharp, and stayed sharp even after chopping limbs. Weight of knife is perfect, carried it on my belt for several miles and didn't have any issues. Sheath is nothing great but functions as it should. Knife is put together very well, fit and finish is great. Is a great one knife option that can do it all. Glad I got it at this price, awesome knife.

Best deal ever
Got this knife on sale - it is absolutely amazing at that price and pretty much a great knife anyhow. Well made, well thought out durable bushcraft knife. I prefer a larger blade and this one delivers. Will serve well. Would have preferred a better sheath but nothing Is perfect eh? It’s a good enough sheath but could be better

Awesome All Purpose Knife
The size 9" blade, 15" OAL & 16oz weight is just right for pretty much anything. Blade is sharp. Love recurves. The handle is comfortable. I'm not a fan of handles with holes in them, but they did not bother my grip. The resin fiber handle is good size & fits the hand well. The texture of it is not polished like it says in the title but instead is like canvas & is just right for large knife. The sheath is nylon but is much better than most nylon sheathes. It holds the blade in snuggly & it won't come out when held upside down. The strap is not even needed. Comes with some paracord. It's a great knife at any price. You won't be disappointed. PS Made in the USA.
