CRK401BXP: K401BXP Ripple 2 - Ken Onion Design
The Ripple™ folding pocket knife has become the anchor of the popular "gentleman's tactical" knife series from Ken Onion and CRKT.

These 2013 stainless steel handle versions ride low profile due to the considerate clip position and are designed to be used as an everyday carry pocket knife.

With their distinct look these knives will complement the refined taste of the distinguished gentleman. They slide in and out of a suit pocket easily and are also comfortable at home in your jeans in the garage.

Stylish curves and smooth flowing lines help to create the Ripple™ effect that defines the look of the handle. These distinctive frame locks feature an ambidextrous blade flipper for easy opening. The flipper style opener moves the blade with ease thanks to the smooth IKBS™ pivot system. The IKBS™ innovation is arguably the strongest, smoothest pivot system on the market.

The Ripple™ modified drop point blade with its high hollow grind affords the user a razor sharp edge with plenty of utility to cut across a wide variety of everyday tasks.

The Ripple™ - Stainless comes in 2.78 blade length (5.56 overall), Razor Sharp Cutting Edge version in both Gray and Bronze colors. There also is a larger blade size available in 3.16 (6.38 overall) with options of Razor-Sharp Cutting Edge or Veff™ Flat Top Serrations. All in Acuto 440 Steel 57-58 HRC.

Great Knife!!
CRKT ripple is a great knife I really like the very sleek handle with great little details. It really excells as a gentlemens knife. The only reason why I can't give a 5 star is because the detent seems to be just a tad bit too much for me that it makes it hard to flip open the blade, resulting in a not-so-fun-to fondle knife. But if you just want a functional, light-use beautiful little edc in a light-weight packet you can't go wrong with this little gem. oh and I wish it had a tip-up option for the pocket clip.

This is my new EDC... This knife is slim, light, comfortable to use. The lever to flip the blade is a little tough to use, you need to press really hard before the blade flips out. The flipper should be a little longer to get better leverage. But after using it for a while it you get used to the way to get the blade to flip out easier. The materials in this knife are awesome. It arrived hair cutting sharp, blade stays perfectly centered and the lock up is rock steady with NO play in the blade. By looking at the handle you would think it is uncomfortable to handle, but surprisingly it is just the opposite.... very comfortable and it provides a very positive grip. Just an awesome knife.

Get one before they are gone!
It is a small knife but it is great. I don't understand why CRKT discontinue it. It is smooth, elegant and light. The deployment is super super smooth thank to IKBS. The pocket clip is not changeable and tip down only but this is not a deal breaker. Just get one before it is sold out.
