CRM1610KSF: M16-10KSF - Special Forces - Tanto - Black - Designed by Kit Carson
The M16 –SS EDC Series - A proven knife design platform made simple, made tough, and made affordable.

If you are a fan of the Kit Carson designed M16 tactical folding knives you are going to want to check out these stainless steel (SS) variations.

Handles are shaped and contoured in the same confident grip M16 style, but are crafted of a retro flavored stainless steel. Handles are all finished in a classic black oxide finish. These folders are available in several blade style options including cutting edge configurations, each with their own user advantages to offer. Blades also feature the Carson Flipper for quick and convenient blade actuation—and the flipper doubles as an effective blade guard in the open position. Blade lock up is secured through the traditional framelock mechanism.

The M16-SS EDC Series is a straight up, "no frills" every day carry folder design that kicks butt in pure performance and value.
  • Stainless steel pocket clip is movable and provides for convenient carry/access.
  • A robust, rigid handle/frame construction is tough, yet still overall compact for low impact carry.
  • The double flipper makes for an effective blade guard in its open position on the M16-10KSF.

8CR13 Stainless Steel
Considered a value steel, 8Cr13 steel provides adequate corrosion resistance but with slightly more carbon than AUS-8, it will sharpen up and hold an edge better.

M16 10k SF folder 3 inch
its a daily carry knife, great construction solid knife, good features. it was a bit smaller then i thought it would be over all. But other then that a good backup knife or if someone is looking for a smaller pocket type knife not bad at all.

excellent, super lightweight
excellent folder, this is the right size imo for a pocket folder if you wear jeans, it's not too big or heavy nor too small as my SW baby swat 2.1" is. I have only one minor complaint - mine's action slows down toward the end of opening, it doesn't flick as easy as some of my other folders, i have to snap the wrist pretty hard to get that solid click and feel to know it's truly locked and isn't going to fold back on my fingers. i'll lube it. i really like this knife and the doubleside finger protectors are a great thing and rare among folders.

Pros: Overall Quality, Ease of Opening, Weight, Handle Material, None
Cons: Pocket Clip, Lock Type
This is my edc. The choiling on the flippers are kinda sharp but a lil file work never hurts. Has a great weight, just enought to make the pommel tip a meaningful impact strike. Wish it had auto lawks and 4 way pocket clip options. Blade steal is thicker than the original. Blade play is also improved from the single flipper model. Liner lock needs a firm blade deployment to have a secure lock. All in all a solid buy.
