Pros: None
Cons: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality, Finish
not a smart buy unless you want a toy
bought to trim brushes in my backyard, the machete comes dull and needed to be reprofile and sharpen in order to trim any brushes. it's too thin and too flexible for any serious use. it's poorly made, nothing to like about it.

Pros: Weight, Handle Material, None
Cons: Blade Sharpness
Ok for the price, but you get what you pay for.
I use this Machete for general yard work such as cutting the vines growing over my fence, cutting down saplings etc. For the price, which was around $13 you can't do much better, but it really should come with the sheath included, which is going to cost you another $7. The ege was asymmetrical and hard to sharpen, dose not hold an ege for very long. However, for only $13 I guess its ok.

Cons: Overall Quality
Not good enough quality to have the "Cold Steel" title.
I bought this machete-21", and the Cold Steel Bowie machete-18". For about $5 more, you get a machete that has a much thicker, heavier-duty blade that you can't fold 180 degrees over your knee. The Bowie comes with a decent sheath, and has a better grind on the edge. This knife is made in South Africa, but the Bowie is made in China. They are both useable, but the Latin machete feels toyish, though it will be better for clearing *light* brush. Handles were the same. I was surprised to see such a difference in the SAME BRAND of knife.
