Pros: Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
This is real Military grade
I got this knife straight from Germany. It has improved blade steel which is Bohler N695 stainless steel which is very tough, hard and edge holding. A well tempered to hardness of 58-59, good edge retention and thick blade for strength. Grip is good and so is the sheath which is all MOLLE and IDZ grade Vest compatible. Its being preferred and used by many soldiers. It can baton through woods, cut ropes, slice coconuts etc. A Glass breaker is at the end of handle. A good feature is that Blade can be detached if you unscrew it from the handle. It can be done for blade maintenance.. Blade is full tang and thick. You can trust this knife. I am not advertising , buy one and see for yourself. Sharpening is a bit tough but hey once its done it will hold edge for long very low maintenance required. A oil cloth is provided with the knife so as to keep the blade oiled and protected when not in field use. Serial number is mentioned on blade which will help you to know the manufacturing date of the knife. It is a standard design and one can have it as their primary knife. It can also server as great batoning knife for bushcrafters. Sheath is very very tough. The same company has improved KM2000 with tanto tip and very good knife.
