Emerson Knives
The popular CQC7 model, in a larger size and with the Emerson Wave hook on the blade for fast deployment.

Chisel Cut 154 CM stainless steel blade with G-10 handles and titanium locking liner.
Introducing the Super 7, the bigger, badder brother of the CQC-7 knife. Emerson put this knife off as long as they could, but the demand was too great to wait any longer. Now, you can have your cake and eat it too. This knife answers the call for the large version of the CQC-7 knife. It's a real hand full, and I mean that both figuratively and literally. This is not just a knife anymore. It is an awesome cutting machine.

This is just about as close to having a Samurai Sword in your pocket as you can get.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
I've been thinking about getting an Emerson for a while now, but was hesitant because of some of the reviews I've read. Some of the people said they had some quality issues with theirs. Finally decided to do it and the only thing I'm sorry about is that I waited. This is one awesome knife! Blade is super sharp. 154cm shouldn't be to hard to resharpen, but will probably take me a while the first time it needs it because this is my first chisel grind. Opening with the thumb bar a little stiff right now, but should smooth out with use. Locks up good and tight and unlocks with no sticking. Really like the handles, gives a very good grip, no slipping. Don't think I'll use it for EDC, but when I do carry it I'm sure it will be able to handle anything and more than I could ever dish out. This is also my first knife with the Wave feature and it works as well or better than advertised. First time out of the pocket and it snapped right open. I couldn't be happier with my first Emerson! Go ahead and try one, you won't be sorry. Thanks Emerson, and thanks to Knife Center for their always great service! Knife Center is my go to place to find exactly what I want.
