Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
I got 1 of this and was intending to get one more tomorrow, but now it's out of stock =( It's a great knife really. Probably the sharpest knife i ever owned. Initially the lock was quite stiff, but after opening it up and reoiling the internals, this knife opens smoothly =D Since i can't get a second one, i won't edc mine. It's too precious!

Emerson has done it again. For the un-initiated, Emerson knives are no-frills, hard core knives. The fit and finish is usually a bit rough and the lock is tight and sticky initially. The sticky lock actually makes the lock stronger! After a bit of opening/closing, it will get smoother, and the grittiness (if any) will go away. Emerson actually encourages you to take their knives apart to clean and lube. This will NOT void your warranty. This is NOT a "Pretty Boy" knife. I held this baby next to the Buck 110 my dad gave me when I was 10 and it has the exact same blade shape. The only difference is that the Emerson is slightly longer and has a much wider blade profile which results in the point being a little bit higher. I don't know why he needed to make the CQC 16. This one covers the bill. If you ever have a problem with an Emerson, they will take care of you!!!! I know this personally. As long as you don't customize it, they will fix any reasonable problem. The only problem with Emerson is waiting for their production!!! Knifecenter is a great place to put your order in!! Don't hesitate. Pull the trigger and get it!!
