Think whiskey, think choppers, think Rock 'n' Roll and you'll know what the Roadhouse is all about, and the moment you pick it up, you'll know why it lives up to its name.

The more that I handle this knife, the more I'm thinking this is one of my best designs. Just like a chopped Harley, this knife is low slung and ready to roar. It feels like you've just dropped the clutch and it's trying to jump out of your hand. And just like a Harley, you've got to have a Rock 'n' Roll, Outlaw's soul to carry a Roadhouse.

If a chopper could be a knife it would be the Roadhouse. This is a bad to the bone fighter with a rebel's soul and a Rock 'n' Roll attitude that cannot be tamed. Pick it up and you can just about smell the Jack Daniel's. This knife is destined to be an Emerson classic.

wouldn't buy another one
I was very excited about getting an Emerson Super Roadhouse. The package finally arrived and I opened the box and it was the wrong knife. A roadhouse was delivered instead. This wasn't Emerson's issue but a mistake with the order none the less. I decided to keep the roadhouse, as an edc knife, which is turning out to be a mistake. It arrived moderately sharp, not close to be razor sharp like other knives I have purchased at the same price. The point of the blade does not come to a well defined point but is very slightly squared off or blunt. The knife was easy to open for the first 50-75 times. Now there is drag in the action and a gritty feel like metal grinding against metal. I would not recommend an Emerson knife and will not buy another one. There are knives out there that are much higher quality at the same price point.

Hasn't left my pocket
Like many of you I am a knife addict. Because of this my edc knife is constantly changing because I am constantly buying new knives I want to carry. I bought this knife in October and it hasn't left my pocket since. I love the more traditional styled tanto blade shape. The lockup is perfect. The handle is very gripppy, comfortable in both saber grip and reverse grip, and is very effective at keeping your hand from slipping on to the blade when stabbing. My only complaint is that I wish I could switch the pocket clip to the left side. I cannot currently carry a firearm, due to age, and I live in an area where I feel that I need one. So I bought the best weapon that I could legally carry, and I stand behind that decision one hundred percent.

One sexy knife
This is my everyday carry knife, it's my back up to my glock , it's sleek it's sharp, Emerson quality is second to none. It's a little heavy compared to my spydercos and benchmades but it's not noticeable after a little bit as the weight is balanced well, overall I love this knife I really can't say anything bad about it
