EMSARKBTP: Police SARK (Search & Rescue Knife)
Emerson Knives
The SARK (Search & Rescue Knife) is specifically designed for fast deployment in extreme situations. The Emerson Wave (patent pending) makes it one of the fastest deploying and opening knives ever. The chisel ground blade has a sharp tip and slightly concave blade profile. The shaped handle features filework on both sides and provides a secure grip for aggressive cutting. Metal pocket clip is removable and reversible for carry tip-up or tip-down. Proven side lock design.

It’s a high performance rescue tool developed by one of the best tactical folder manufacturers. The serrations power effectively through any material, thick or thin. The "Wave" feature on the blade speeds opening by allowing the blade to be deployed as the knife is withdrawn from the pocket. In a situation where seconds count, no rescuer wants to be fumbling to open a knife. The SARK is a great alternative to all those lightweight rescue knives already on the market. In an emergency or injury situation the knife can be opened with one hand as it is drawn from the pocket.

Another Good Emerson
This is my third Emerson so far. Great feel in the hand. No blade play whatsoever. Smooth opening and closing. Great grip on handles. Emerson, in my opinion, has the best G10 texturing of any knife I have handled. some people complain about the handles being hard on pockets, but what do you want, a knife you can hold on to, no matter what, or a smoother handle that's easier on pockets. I know which one I'll pick. Emerson describes this blade as an upswept Wharncliffe, which is a good description. I think this knife would be a great defensive carry, while being able to handle most EDC duties pretty well. I've read some reviews from other people complaining of build quality, but this being my third Emerson, I haven't seen that yet. Fit and finish on this knife is excellent as far as I can tell. Handles fit to liners well, and no lock stick. The only reason i gave it four stars is because it's not as sharp as my other two. Not that it's not sharp, just not as sharp as the other two. Not really a problem since sharpening the chisel edge is about as easy as you can get. Also, this was my first black blade Emerson, looks really great. Will probably get black blades from now on, if available. Thanks to Emerson for another great build and thanks to Knife Center for their as usual great service. I don't believe there is anyone out there that does as great a job and has the products That Knife Center does. Thanks again.
