lasted the year in the A-stan
I used this thing near on everyday for a year in Afghanistan. The size made it easy to use, it was always bright enough... really much more user friendly then larger tactical lights

Best Small Flashlight For The Money
I know there's brighter, better flashlights will all the bells and whistles and rechargeable lithium ion batteries and all that jazz, but this flashlight is more my style. It's well made out of high quality materials, and it's simple. It's the Chevy Silverado of flashlights. If you're a Ford guy, Maglite sells some nice pink flashlights you might like. Muahaha. Anyway, it's very bright, especially for it's size. The fact that it uses a single AA battery is great, since AA's are some of the most widely available and inexpensive batteries. If you want a nice flashlight that you can carry anywhere and everywhere, buy a Fenix E12.

Love it
You could temporarily blind someone with this 3.5" marvel. Carried at the bottom of my front pocket. Any Green Beret or Boy Scout should have one.
