follow-up on stowaway pen
I've had this pen for a while now, and it was great for a while, but the cap still falls off constantly no matter what I do, and the pen has started to "glob" the ink, which I thought doesn't happen with space pens. Probably shouldn't make these things in China or South Korea.

A good pen, small size makes it easy to put in pocket while leaving room for other things. Only problem I had was the cap kept coming loose. The solution to this problem is a trick I learned from repairing watches and clocks. Take the cap off, put something inside to prevent collapse (stuffing with tissue will do). Then take an end-nipper, put it around the end of the cap (the open end, about an eighth inch in). Then put some pressure (light) on the cap with the nipper, and turn slowly back and forth, making a small notch all the way round. This will make it "snap" in better, and hold on.

I've carried this pen for months now and it is incredible but I now have a pen handy when I need it. It actually fits in my pants pocket- jeans or otherwise, so that it actually is there when I need it. Very cool. It writes 100 times better than disposables. It is small to hold, but I don't use it that much or for that long. At my desk I have a full size pen. I use the point as a stylus for credit card signing machines because everyone else handles their attached styluses.
