Pros: Stitching, Usability, None
Cons: Material Quality, Functionality
Not bad but needs more
This isn't a bad kit. However, I would swap the mini Paraframe knife for a BG folding scout knife (the pocket one. Not the little mini scout). I would also like to see some tinder quicks, water purification tablets, paracord, and maybe an inflatable water container.

Okay, but not great
Better than nothing, but its is much better to just build your own, like a Altoids tin, or if you would like you can build off of this kit adding or taking things away to meet your needs, okay kit, worth the money and would make a pretty good gift.

Cons: None
When I ordered this, I first intended to order the bigger survival kit that's just less than 40 bucks, however they didn't have it in stock at that time, perhaps next time. Glad I did order the small kit though. It's a nice compact survival kit. For less than 20 bucks you can't beat it & you can't go wrong. It fits inside my cargo pants pocket nicely. The orange is nice as it makes it east to find in any wilderness situation, or not. On the back of the orange pouch it has signaling instructions on it, that alone is worth the cost, as it can help save a life. It should have had para-cord come with it instead of some kind of cheap white bootlace looking string, but oh well, it will do in a pinch. I got plenty of para-cord anyway. Pocket guide is handy especially for the forgetful or the novice. All of the gear works well. Good deal!
