Pros: Blade Sharpness, Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Whoever came up withe idea of putting a chain blade on a hand saw was a genius. It works great and fast on anything 6" in diameter or less (and eats the little stuff a traditional wood blade has trouble with for breakfast). More than that you realistically just need a bigger saw. One big drawback though. Green wood gums up the chain and is a pain to clean. (But in bushcraft situations how often are you sawing green wood?) The wood saw however doesn't have this problem but is short so it makes larger cuts a little bit harder. The finger rings are almost laughable considering the chain. I do wish the saw had a deeper bow and a longer wood blade. But considering the intended purpose of this tool and the its compactness and well made strength, it is a great tool. Also, the case it comes in is great.
