Bought it Again
I carried one of these every day for a couple of years. After I lost it I looked at all of the other small assisted opening knives I could find and ended up buying the same knife again. This knife fits my desired features list very well. I want a small knife that doesn't feel to awkward in my pocket on those rare occasions when I have to wear dress pants. It needs a single locking blade that can be opened with one hand, cause that's what I've carried for 40 years and I ain't gonna change now! Assisted opening has been a requirement since the first time I tried one a few years ago - flicking a knife open always satisfies! I like plastic handles so there is less chance that the knife will scratch up other stuff in my pockets. I took the metal clip off of the first one I owned. This knife has all the features I want. Any problems are shared with other knives in the same category. Assisted opening can be tricky with small knives - you could cut your thumb when opening if you're not careful. That hasn't happened to me, but there have been times when I got in a hurry and felt the blade scrape my thumb a bit. The metal clip allows you to get a better grip for opening. Right now I still have it on the new knife. This knife feels good in my hand, but the handle looks ugly to me. That's the only downside I've found, and that was the only reason I shopped around before buying another one.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
Wonderful easy to pocket sturdy knife.
I use this for everything from a small thick work blade. Is small enough not to be a pocket problem with keys or other pocket items. Has a pocket clip but is small enough not to need it. When I used it I lost one from pulling out my car keys. Does not enter the pocket deep enough. This holds an edge extremely well. Lock is reliable and strong, this will not give way to close. Blade is thick which allows some prying. Serrated edge is great for cutting ropes and any type of twine. Was carrying a Gerber assist 3" blade. Is identical to the mini. When I bought my first Gerber assist I did not believe in assisted opening. Thought it was a ridiculous, fools money buy. Man I wish I had known how tough and long lasting they are. There are no cons.
