GB30001193N: Center-Drive Multi-Tool
Gerber

Real professionals, real tools, real jobs. Gerber's Center-Drive Multi-Tool is a game-changing addition designed for real life, heavy-duty work. The thoughtful one-thumb opening design allows for quick deployment of the three full size tools you depend on most: the pliers, the blades and the screwdriver. The Center-Drive is revolutionary, introducing an extra-long 3.2 inch magnetic bit driver that opens to align with the center axis of the tool – giving you all the torque and rotation of a traditional screwdriver. The full size blades conveniently replace your everyday pocket knife, and the full size spring-loaded pliers feature an X-Channel Rail System to eliminate rattle and open smoothly. Streamlined to offer the right tools for optimal functionality, the Center-Drive will replace your tool belt in no time.

CENTER AXIS DRIVER
It seems so obvious - but until now no multi-tool has ever offered a full size driver on the center axis with a standard bit. The result is all the ergonomics and torque you'd expect from the real thing, ready at the flick of a thumb.

FULL SIZE KNIFE BLADE
Get right down to business. A single flick of the thumb gets you access to a full size outboard knife that is 30% longer than the competition. Don't worry; reverse thumb support gets the job done in confidence. No compromises - in no time.

ONE-THUMB OPENING PLIERS
Adjust to your environment, or force it to adjust to you. It's your choice. One-thumb opening sliding jaws deliver instant command of the spring-loaded pliers, so you can take control of whatever's at hand.

Best Multi-Tool I've Ever Owned!
And I've had a lot, going back to the original Leatherman!I find I'm relying on it for production work, instead of hauling a beltfull of tools around. The materials, fit, and finish are outstanding. I did not buy the extra bits, but rather, I found that a standard 10-hole rubber bit holder (of which, I had many) fits in the outer pocket, so I assembled my own most-used set of bits to carry, including a 5/16" socket for hose clamps.A wonderful feature is that you don't have to open the pliers to flip out either the knife blade or the screwdriver. My only complaint is that the replaceable cutting blades are fragile. I have broken several. Gerber wants $24 a pair for replacements! Then I discovered that these are simply standard M10 thread cutting inserts, used for making screws on a lathe. You can ten of them from China on eBay for under $10!It's also a bit of a shame that the blade lock is plastic. Mine is taking a beating, and I suspect it will be the first thing to break.A final, trivial complaint is that the flip-out spare bit holder gets a little loose with use, and you can lose your spare bit. I squeezed mine tighter with some wire-nose pliers, and all is good again.
