Pros: None
Cons: Overall Quality, Blade Material
Not so happy
Broken blade first time out cutting a 3" thick branch, wasn't trying to cut too fast or pushing very hard but the blade broke off at the point it attaches to the handle. The handle felt pretty cheap as well. Anyway if you are looking for a good folding saw look at something else.

no go
I like the sheath and the option of fine or coarse blades. The handle feels good in hand, but that is where the positive aspects of this review end. The part where the blades exchange started to come apart (the rotation joint) and the seam in the handle is making a run towards splitsville. This condition is preventing the blade from consistently locking. Tightening the pin to alleviate the lock-up trouble has become futile and I can't take the handle apart (not held together by screws) to investigate further. The blades bend a bit too much, but that doesn't bother me as much as the lock failing. Another reviewer eluded to this saw being employed in their "go-bag". I protest. The inevitable demoralizing failure of this saw in a "go-bag" scenario is not worth the weight of carry.

Handle and sturdiness a disappointment
I bought this for my Go-bag. I expect it will be fine for this purpose. My impression is that it is not made well enough for hard use. The handle is plastic, flimsy and a bit of a disappointment. The tip off should have been its cheap price. I don't think it lives up to the Gerber name, which I have respected for some of their other products.
