Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to Kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.

One of the older steel Capitals of the World: Solingen, Germany produces some of the best Kitchen knives and straight razors money can buy.
Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel
Utilizes a wide variety of alloys but all contain a minimum of 10.5% Chromium content. Stainless steels will not corrode, rust, or oxidize but are not completely stain-proof so the title is somewhat of a misnomer.
Stag Handles
Stag Handles
Naturally dropped deer antlers are used to create a natural rugged look and feel. Antler from the Axis and Sambar deer in India are renowned for their density and are therefore most commonly used for knife scales.

Well made, hand made feel
This was a gift to my father so I can't go into to much. The first thing I noticed was it felt very good in the hand like a high quality hand made knife. Attention to detail was evident, as all sharp edges(except the blade LOL) were smooth, so holding the knife felt like it was worn in. The sheath was of good quality with a nicely designed latch. The guard placement was really nice not too big. The factory edge wasn't very visible, but felt nice. I did not try using the blade.

Cons: None
Overall Quality
I will use this knife for deer hunting. The shape of the blade makes it ideal for field dressing and skinning game. I really like the Solingen steel, it holds an edge well and is not too difficult to sharpen. This knife exhibits fine German craftsmanship at its best.
