BEST Folder on the Market
Got this knife for my birthday about 2 years ago from my dad, and it has been the best knife I have ever owned. I've taken it on ~20 backpacking trips in the mountains and it is still kicking butt. The knife has taken a few swims and been dropped in thick mud, but it hasn't shown any signs of corrosion or tightened up at all. I love the knife's heavy weight. At half a pound, you know it means business when you're holding it. The 4" blade is perfect; anything less is on the small side and anything more is overkill. The blade is also very sturdy and when it locks into place, you know it's ready to rock and roll. I wasn't a fan of serrated blades before, but it has grown on me. It is extremely sharp, even out of the box. The thumb assist is firm and it opens very easily. The grip must be made of tank armor because it is one durable SOB. The rubber in-lace makes it easier to hold and more ergonomic. The pocket clip can be put on either side making it easier for those lefties. Mine came with a sheath that is military grade and is also MOLLE compatible, so it fits perfectly on a backpack, vest, or belt. In all, the MULE is the perfect folder. It is hefty, but not so heavy that it's bothersome. I wouldn't expect anything less from the guys at KA-BAR.

Best folder I own
I've had this knife for 2 or 3 years, and it's still holding up well. It's a great folder for heavy use, but without being so bulky that you can't carry it regularly. This is my EDC. I actually bought a second recently just because I'm afraid this knife might get discontinued by the time I need to replace it.
