Kershaw Knives

The Injection 3.0 is destined to become you new favorite pocketknife.

It offers sleek good looks—from the tip of its classic drop-point blade to its 3D-machined G-10 handle. The Injection is a collaboration between custom knifemaker Todd Rexford and Kershaw and we think the results are outstanding. Look for high-end custom details like decorative pivot hardware and machined thumbstuds. The G-10 handle has incised cutouts on each side, letting you see through to the stainless steel liners. The G-10 is textured for a secure grip. Even the backspacer offers a custom touch; it's chamfered (cut at an angle) on the back end. Another nice detail is the inset lanyard pin so nothing interrupts the smooth line of the knife. And all of this at a value price.

The 3-in. blade is the perfect size for so many day-to-day applications. Built of high-performance 8Cr13MoV, it comes razor-sharp and holds its edge well. The manual opening is smooth and easy. Once open, the blade is secured with a steel locking liner. The pocketclip is reversible for left- or right-handed carry. Want a slightly larger knife? Check out the Injection 3.5.
  • Manual - There is no mechanical assist, such as SpeedSafe, used to open the folding knife. It opens the classic, old-school way.
  • Liner Lock - Locks the blade open during use; one side of the knife's steel "liner," the steel plate to which the handle scales are attached, moves into position behind the blade to securely lock it open.
  • Reversible - Pre-drilled holes in the handle enable the user to change either the tip position or the side on which the knife carries.

I use the Product on odds and ends, at home and on work. Although i only had it about a week for now, it has served me really well. It has a very sharp edge right out the box, nice allround finish and an amazing look for its price. The thumb studs are a super cool, but they do scratch my thumb nail so i try to stop my self opening it all the time. It slides really smoothly when open and closed. The weight is alright, does not feel cheap made. The clip could be abit deeper, but its very acceptable. All in all super knife for its price, and it very beautiful. I thank you Kershaw, Rexford and Knifecenter for the possibility to have the knife.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
When I saw the price on this knife I thought, how bad can it be that their selling it for $13. Decided to get one anyhow, and I want to tell you this is probably the biggest surprise I have gotten in a long time. This is a really nice knife, not just at the price I paid , but even for 2-3 or 4 times the price. Sits nicely in the hand, handles not too short for a smaller knife and G-10 gives a decent grip. No blade play in any direction and lockup is at about 50%, but at least you can't push the lock bar any farther over. Decently thick blade is shaving sharp out of the box with nice even grind. If I had to find something to complain about, I guess I would say it could use some jimping on the blade spine, but I'm not going to complain. I love this knife. I have a lot of knives that are a whole lot more expensive than this one, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this knife, regardless of price. Great job Kershaw, and thanks to Knife Center for the great price. Get one before they are gone, you won't be sorry.
