Kanetsune's Kiba is a fantastic knife!
Great knife! This knife has served me well in Iraq. This knife commands respect the instant you hold it. The Kiba is my favorite I acquired at the 2008 Shotshow. The glass breaker on the butt works well. A thick strong knife of very good quality. The blade held true for a long time. I used Japanese naka-to medium waterstones to keep the blade sharpened. I used a military molle para sheath instead of the wood so not to damage the beauty of it. I enjoy the traditional box style and leather but not for tactical use. The polymer coating did a good job of preventing rust under the 550 paracord. I rewrapped the handle with tan cord to match the color of my desert sheath. This knife has been a great addition to my kit. Kanetsune makes great knives and they are great folks also. Would like to see a second gen version with a small tang so the strap on the sheath has something to better grab hold of the knife.
